Thank you for stopping by my website. When I was first elected to the Eau Claire School Board, I immediately got to work to help tackle the most pressing challenges facing our schools.
I am very proud to have helped move our school district forward throughout my first term. I helped secure funds to approve a reclassification and pay increase for special education staff and advocated for successful compensation reforms for all employees. I conducted over 200 school visits to spend time directly with our students and staff. I knocked on over 1,000 doors and presented at over 100 listening sessions to ensure the success of our 87.9 million dollar referendum. I helped author over 75 policy changes that make our district more fair, safe and inclusive.
I’m running for re-election because we still have work to do! I will continue to lead the fight to make our school district a forward-thinking example for the entire state. I will continue my work to empower parents, students, and teachers in our schools and increase accountability throughout the district. I will continue to serve as an advocate on issues that impact kids and families – and fight for a fair share of funding from Madison for local schools.
Here on this site, you can learn more about me and my work in the “Biography” section and connect with me through social media! Take a look around and let me know what you think.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve, and I hope to earn your vote on April 3!
